OPEN SCIENCE PLATFORM FOR HEALTH RESEARCH
Cureous Commons is a non-profit initiative aiming to launch a next-generation digital research platform as a public service - freely and openly available to patients and researchers.
Our goal is to establish a widely accessible and trusted platform that can provide an immense value to a broad range of actors, including institutional research, advocacy groups, industry and patient communities.
The platform has been in development since 2017.
Target launch of the platform is June 2021.
Cureous has been designed from the ground up as an open science platform, which will provide full access to study data sets and method definitions (after a grant period to support initial publication).
Cureous enables unprecedented collaboration between research teams and patients. Research elements are authored in a modular fashion and can be seamlessly re-used across projects.
Cureous provides patients with unprecedented means to collaborate in the investigation of their conditions. Beyond participation in studies, patients can be involved in all stages of research design and can create self-initiated explorations.
Cureous will be operated by a non-profit organization providing the platform and data assets as a public good - openly and freely available to patient and researcher communities.
